Goings on at our house
Things are going good here. We have been busy with school and parent teacher and IEP's and all that goes with school. The kids are doing well. They have finally got the boys in classes that work well for them. They seem happy. Paul is in the Band with his best friend and he loves it. Anthony has a homework hour which has helped him a lot. He has made some good friends in there too. Bristole is doing great in her new 4th grade class. We were struggling this summer with one of her friends parents who placed Bri in some risky situations. It got so bad we had to tell Bri that her friend can come here but she can't go there anymore. She and her friend didn't take it well. We were really disappointed to see all her other friends but this one girl were in different classes. I hope she can make some more friends in her class and that will help her to feel better about things. Brook is loving preschool. We have started to teach her to read and some math. She is so smart and its her favorite part of the day. The baby is moving closer to adoption. They said that it would be final before January so we are excited. Nate and I are both staying busy. Yesterday we made some fruit leather which is fabulous. Our pear tree is full of fruit too but it's not quite ready to be put up. We are planning on putting in a big garden next year in our yard and planting a bunch of fruit and nut trees. We would really like to get a farm. Nate's grandparents had a cattle farm that he helped with growing up and I would love to be more self reliant especially with the way costs keep rising. The only thing holding us back is that I'm worried about being able to run a farm if he ever gets deployed again. I know me and the kids could do it but it would be a lot of extra stress.
