New Update

Dec was a rough month for us in the foster care dept. All though the state is no longer working with her parents they have appealed the decision to terminate rights. We had 3 court dates in dec. the first was really hard for me when they said they were going to appeal. The second we got to sit down with the parents and discuss what they wanted. It seemed really positive. then we left the room and the lawyers went in and they came out and said that they could not come to an agreement. The last court date all they said was they would be fighting it all the way to the end. It was hard and frustrating to have to wait again. We now have a couple dates in Feb. with an adoption in Apr. I guess patience is key in foster care. Thats all I have time for now. I will update more later.
