Busy Life

It has been hectic around here for a while. I kept thinking that things would slow down when school started but I was wrong.

We had a great month with Yuki. It was a lot of fun to have her here. We went to capitol reef instead of the redwoods due to some complications with foster care.

While Yuki was here we also got to have some time with some of our out of state family. It is so fun to see them but it makes you wish they were closer.

School started and that has kept us busy.

Bri has decided to take orchestra this year and will be playing the cello, she also tried out for the High school play and so she will be in the Music man.

Paul also is in the middle school play. He is a villager in the beauty and the beast. He was excited because he gets to arm wrestle Gaston.

Anthony is as anti social as usual. I beg him to be involved but it doesn't go far. TEENAGER, thats all I have to say.

Brook started Kindergarten, in the all day class. She is loving it. In fact she reminds everyone everyday that she likes school and doesn't know why everyone else doesn't.

Meg is starting to talk a lot more now that the other kids are out of the house. I'm really glad because the Dr was starting to worry that she had autism so I hope she keeps it up.

My parents came and helped us haul some wood. Unfortunately my dad was injured and on the way down our truck broke down. Although this was a bad experience it was very faith promoting for my boys who prayed and received an answer to their prayers. They have both talked about it several times since.

Nate is off to Germany with the guard for 3 weeks. I told him if he goes out of the country again then its my turn next. They actually only had 3 days where they trained so mostly he has been getting day passes and touring Germany. He says it's pretty and green there. He comes home on the 29th. So I can't wait.

As for me the Dr thought I had a tubal pregnancy even though my tubes are tied. But the ultrasound revealed that I have scar tissue that has adhered my ovary to the side of my uterus and thereby has caused hormone problems that made it look as though I was pregnant and caused pain on the left side. Although that isn't as bad of news as it could be it took 2 weeks to get the results and by then of course I was hoping for better news. Luckily Nate was able to give me a blessing before he left. We both felt peace that whatever happened was meant to be.

We had 2 calls about placements this month that didn't pan out and got to have 2 little ones for 2 days.

All in all it has just been incredibly busy. I will keep you updated again soon.
