Sometimes I feel like I can't get anything done. Every time I make plans to do what i need to life takes over. I wanted to get some deep cleaning done this summer. I have finished half a room so far and summers well over half gone. We have had a lot of fun and stress this month. We went to the Henrie and the Walker family reunions. They were busy and fun. By the time we finished those we were all exhausted.
We had a review of our baby's case things are going very well. They said not for sure (but highly likely) we should be able to have her permanently by Oct. She turned 1 this month it was very exciting to have a little ones birthday again. No matter what though we are enjoying being foster parents. It is more work than we thought though. We had some major changes this week too so it should be getting better.
We made some time to take the kids to the movies. The Boys and I saw Harry Potter and the Girls and Dad saw Winnie the Pooh. While we were there the man who runs the bungie trampoline booth gave Anthony and Paul a free ride. It was funny to watch my afraid of heights boy do his best on the tramp.
We have thrown in a couple court dates and visitations along with Utah's 2 holiday's and some major illness' has made for a completely over run month. Hopefully things will cool down this month and I'll get to the rest of life's many chores not move from 1 appointment to the next.
On an upside we are planing a fun extended family vacation for Oct and that gives us some down time to look forward to. Gotta think of the positives right.

That's a LOT of info packed into one post! Where to start?!?! First...I'm excited for y'all that you might get to keep the little one. Y'all will be in our thoughts. What do the kids think of having a little one around again? You're right about foster care being a lot of work! There were some weeks were we felt like we did little else besides go to appointments, do paperwork, & work with DCFS! So which one of the boys is afraid of heights? I am too!! So Aunt Joye understands!!! lol Did you hear that we're going to *TRY* to meet y'all for the family vacay in Oct??? I *really* hope we get to! We miss all of you *so* much!! Send my love to the family!
Yep, Thats how I was feeling that week. We had an Appt. everyday for her and the next week was about the same. She is so worth it though.
The other kids love her to pieces. Brook went through a rough phase at first though, she did the whole I'm going to be a baby thing. Luckily she got over it.
Anthony is afraid of heights really bad. He cries if we try to force him into a glass elevator.
We hope!!! you guys can come with us too. It would be awesome for the cousins (and all of us) to have the experience together. We found some super military discounts ($99 for three day pass, hotel etc.) so if you decide to come give us a call. We miss you guys too.
